We decided to launch the brand ”us” out of a single-minded desire to put a stop to the
continuing decline of Japanese craftmanship and traditional craftmanship.
Nishijin-ori and Yonezawa-ori industries are facing a shortage of human resources
and succession problems, and the future is uncertain.
The current situation is also not well known to the younger generation in the same
fashion-related industries, such as the accessory industry.
I don't want to be a bystander and turn a blind eye to the fact that my favorite industries
and traditional skills are simply declining.
I want to leave wonderful things to the next generation, and I think they should be left
behind.
I have always believed that clothing is not just something you wear, but has the power to
enliven your heart as well.
Through “us”, we want people to nurture their senses, broaden their values and
perspectives, and feel a variety of things.
For those who are interested in clothing and manufacturing,
for those who are involved in manufacturing, and for the future of Japan,
we will sustain and revitalize manufacturing
that nurtures sensitivity and communicate its value through our “us.
